It must be a sign

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

I'm one of those people who believe there are "signs" all around us. We just need to recognize them and see what they're trying to tell us.

I haven't been able to get this song out of my head for the last few days. Does anyone have any ideas why??

  1. Thanks.

    Now I've got to go to Parma. And buy some chicken.

  2. Maybe it's telling you that you have a chicken fantasy fetish.

    Do you ever have the urge to bring a live chicken into the bedroom? Hmmm??? Thought so.

  6. I think that the interpretation is that you need to "Lego of some of your chickeness."
    Just my thought...

  7. @f8hasit,
    Would you pick me up a pink flamingo for my lawn, please?

    @Erin,
    So funny! Oh you thought so, did you?

    You're right...

    @JW.BW,
    Oh, Jessi, I think this is my favorite answer! And probably the one closest to the truth.

    @Secretia,
    I DO like playing fowl. But not at a wedding.

    @kyslp,
    Nope. A friend just got divorced, though. Do they play it at divorce parties?

    @CatLadyLarew,
    Oh my, you dirty girl, what did you say?

    @olehere,
    Ah ha! How could I have overlooked that?

  8. You are the MEANEST blogger EVER. So. Because YOU had the song running thru YOUR head, the rest of us have to SUFFER? (Said in her best Jewish-mother-accent)

    (Breaks into The Carpenter's "Close to You" to try and break the mental loop)

  9. I have NO idea what this may mean for you, but it was HYSTERICAL!

    For me, it was reminiscent of watching two guys dance at a country western gay bar.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!

    Thanks for the laugh, my friend!

  10. Was that really necessary? I mean seriously girlfriend. Ugh! I truly hate that song. Don't know why. I just do.

    I have to admit that the Lego guys were kinda cute,though.

  11. As someone who has had Mike Nesmith's RIO banging round his head since the weekend, I was kinda hopeful that this might dislodge it. I'm glad to say it didn't.

    Well, not like THIS one, anyway:

    The chicken dance is a sign that you will visit mainland Europe. They call it the Birdie Dance there. And they still think it's cool.

  14. @Kathryn,
    Hey, what are friends for?

    Oh God, I LOVE the Carpenters. RIP, Karen dear.

    @Ron,
    You're so funny. I think they look like they're copping a feel on some chick's boobs.

    @Theresa,
    I'm sorry. But do you see the hell that's been my life for the last few days? I even started humming it in the hall at the hospital. I thought they were going to send me to the psyche ward.

    @Indigo Wrath,
    Maybe it will dislodge it if you listen to it again. And again. And again.

    Hey, thanks, that song got it out of MY head.

    @Collette,
    Spooky. Maybe we're on some weird cosmic wavelength. (Insert twilight zone music here)

    @JennyMac,
    Well, gosh, I should hope so. Yes, Aren't they kooky?
