I've decided to make Sundays my Secondhand day. I'm basically too lazy to think of anything new to say so I thought I would re-post a "vintage" entry.
If you aren't in the mood for repeats, please feel free to change the channel.

I learned long ago not to give up sweets for Lent. It just makes me too grumpy and nobody wants to be around me and then they force me to eat chocolate until I get in a better state of mind.
ReplyDeleteJust getting caught up on my blog reading. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteAwww, this was the first time you told me to go to Hell.
ReplyDeleteYou mean that if you give up candy for Lent you're not supposed to EAT it? I thought it just meant that you were supposed to hold it up and worship it before you ate it. You know... "Let's give it up for the Cadbury's!"
ReplyDeletePeach Tart,
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I keep trying. You're smarter than me.
Hi Julie,

I usually start Lent out with a general thing to give up, too. By the time Easter comes, I've changed it to giving up "giving up things" for lent...LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great idea. Gets some new readers caught up with some of your favorite posts. I always forgive a lazy Sunday.

@JW.BW,
ReplyDeleteAren't they the bomb? I think they should make Cadbury pumpkins and Christmas ornaments too.
