O goodness....personally I think it's just bad luck for the rest of 2009. Stay inside and keep your feet up. 2010 should be fine.
There is nothing to worry about. As someone else has suggested, it just shows the bad luck for the year 2009. It might also have cleansed the bad luck for the New Year altogether!!
