Please help the mentally challenged

And I'm talking about me.

I thought, How fun will it be to put some slideshows on my blog? I started with Bernie and when I went into Picasa to add additional photos.

I saw an album that looked like the pictures on my blog but there were also some there that I haven't used so I thought, I don't need this album.

Delete.

And VOILA!

EVERY SINGLE PICTURE ON MY BLOG IS GONE. Well, except for the one of me and Nancy and my orangutan baby. Weird.

Does anyone know if they can be retrieved or do I have to repost them ONE BY ONE.

Thanks!

I don't know how to help you Chrissy, but sure am glad I made it into the protected photo list with the orangutan...

  2. I'd at least get your profile and blog logo up until you can figure it out.

  4. Hmmm, that doesn't sound good. Before you give up hope, try posting your question on the Picassa help forum (linked below). The nerds that troll that site have nothing better to do with their time than solve Google-based problems, for free. Tell them you're mentally challenged and they’ll be even nicer.

  5. I don't know the answer to this because I always download my blog photos to my computer and then upload them to my posts - I don't import them from a photo album such as Flickr or Picassa.

I once had this happen to me on my blog at Wordpress. Suddenly, one day about 12 of my blog post photos vanished. The people at Wordpress got most of them back for me, but then I had to repost the rest.

I would do as MVD suggested.

  6. Thanks, everyone, for your responses. I went to that help link, MVD, and they seemed to think the file would be in my recycle bin but it was not.

I gathered photos using two different computers and I don't think I saved most of the pictures after I uploaded them.

Looks like I'm gonna be a busy girl.

    Thanks, again!
